William and Maricel
reunited on TV

Keanna Reeves, if you recall, emerged as the winner. But she’s not as busy as Zanjoe.

Zanjoe, right now, has two regular TV shows, "Dyosa" and "Varga." Occasionally, he is seen with his group, the Coverboys, in "ASAP Live."

He is in the cast of the upcoming horror-suspense series, "Florinda," topbilled by Maricel Soriano.

In "Dyosa," by the way, he is one of the three leading men of Anne Curtis. The other two are Luis Manzano and Sam Milby.

He plays the partner of girlfriend Mariel Rodriguez in "Varga."

Some years back, Maricel and William were a love team to reckon with. Both under contract to Regal Entertainment, they did several films together; all of which emerged as blockbusters.

For a time, Maricel and William were sweethearts in real life.

Between them, it was William who first got married. He wed Yayo Aguila, with whom he has four children.

Maricel, on the other hand, married Edu Manzano, with whom she’s now estranged.

Maricel has two sons, Marron and Sebastian.

Kim Chiu will soon realize her promise to her family. Right now, his siblings are looking for a lot in Cebu where they plan to build their dream house.

Why in Cebu?

"That house will be for my family. Ako naman, contented na ako with the townhouse I’m renting," she replied.

All her three siblings are based in Cebu. They come and visit her in Manila occasionally. It’s just her father who stays with her in Manila.

"Doon kasi nagaaral ang mga kapatid ko," Kim revealed. "Actually, only two are studying, since my Ate Lakam (bini) has finished college at nagtatrabaho na."

It’s her Ate Lakan who buys the dresses and accessories Kim wears.

"Malaking tulong silang lahat sa akin," Kim said of her family. "Kaya, kung anumang tulong ang naibibigay ko sa kanila, ito’y parang tanda lang ng pasasalamat."

We had the chance to talk to Kim at the launch of her latest endorsement, Biocare.

Does she use the product?

"Opo naman," Kim answered. "But I have to admit that I’m gifted with clear and nearly flawless skin. Nagkakaroon lang ako ng pa-konti konting pimples kapag may menstruation ako.

"Kapag may mens ako, pinuputakti ako ng pimples sa aking likuran. And that’s when Biocare comes in. Isang tablet lang, nakakatulong na para mag-subside ng kaunti ang pimples ko sa likuran.

"Kung may natutulungan ng malaki ang Biocare, ito ay ang kapatid kong lalaki. He is suffering from skin problems. Pero ngayon, unti unti nang nawawala ito after I advised him to take two tablets a day of Biocare.

"Kapag medyo malala ang skin problem, kailangang more than one tablet a day ang inumin," Kim further stated.

Kim will have the entire "My Girl" cast with her in her new teleserye, "My Only Hope." But the series will be more of a drama than a comedy.

"Hindi na rin clean cut dito si Gerald (Anderson), unlike sa ‘My Girl.’ But he is still guwapo, I tell you.

"Even Alex (Gonzaga) will no longer be kikay. Seryoso na ang kanyang role.

"Nina (Jose) will remain a kontrabida. At si Enchong (Dee) matiyaga ko pa ring manliligaw," she further said.
