Mother Ricky looks
for 1st ‘Hair Diva’

Reality TV has extended its helping hand not only to showbiz star wannabes, but even to hardworking hair stylists.

Celebrity hairdresser Ricky Reyes is making this possible with the launch of "Hair Diva," a search for the promising hairdresser who can best represent the ideals and charm that made Ricky Reyes a success story.

The nationwide search had already auditioned through close to a thousand hopefuls from Metro Manila and in General Santos, Cagayan De Oro, Baguio City, Bulacan, among other provincial spots to determine who will be the Top 11 finalists. Many of them are already experienced hairstylists and idolize Ricky Reyes for his generosity and sincerity to both his work and to the society

The chosen few will go through rounds of challenges as their journey gets seen on QTV channel starting this Sunday, September 23, from 10 to 11 a.m.

"What we’re looking for to become the first "Hair Diva" is someone who, like me, has experienced humble beginnings, and is willing to become a better person through hard work," shares Reyes, more popular in showbiz as Mother Ricky.

Celebrity judges are tapped to observe and critique the finalists as they head through several challenges (physical or mental) to test their toughness and spirit.

All finalists are already assured of job offers from Ricky Reyes branches, while the "Hair Diva" titlist will be given his or her own parlor outlet.

"We promise to give the televiewers a good show that’s full of entertainment, thrill, and drama. I am so happy of the big turnout of people during the auditions. It only means that the finalist circle will surely be loaded with talents, great personalities, and everything that have to do with being a Hair Diva," says the charismatic hairstyle guru.

‘’Hair Diva’’ is touted as one great innovation of reality TV, promoting the value of passion, diligence, and confidence, as well as respect for gender preference and freedom to aspire.
