Hive Hotel and Convention Center first opened its doors in 2015 and the hotel owners envisioned Hive hotel to be a mix of both old and new.  It has a distinctively modern feel. The doors to the rooms are designed to look like doors found in spaceships, complete with a touch-sensitive panel for doorbells and LED-lit signs for those who want to have their rooms made or given some private time.  But once inside, the modern feel is replaced by a homey, almost nostalgic atmosphere.
