WE are a country that has the bad habit of honking horns even for no reason at all. Filipino motorists honk when driver in another lane makes a signal to signify his intention to change lane even if the signaling driver has made a reasonable distance to “communicate” his message of turning. Motorists here honk  instead of making a stop when a pedestrian is about to cross the road even if the latter is in a pedestrian lane.
